The Chequered Skipper has recently opened a new function room area called 'The Green Room' which has beeen completed in an adjoining barn conversion. This new exciting space will provide many options for larger parties, functions and group events.

What better place to consider than the perfect country setting of the Chequered Skipper in the village of Ashton. The new barn function room can accommodate up to 60 sit down diners and provide you with exclusive access to the roof terrace overlooking the village green.

You may hire the room only or a menu can be crafted to suit your occasion, whether it is a sit down lunch or supper, a buffet or a celebration followed by entertainment (licenced for live music & discos).

For functions that need to accommodate more than 60 diners a marquee can be added onto the barn function room.

Function Room Hire starts at: £100 (at off peak times)

If you have your own venue then we can cater for your event. Our outside functions team have experience of catering for up to 250 people so please contact us to discuss your requirements or to obtain a quote.
