September marks the end of our first 6 months at the Chequered Skipper. It’s been an exciting roller coaster of a journey but in that relatively short period of time, we’ve introduced an A La Carte Menu, a new Wine List and experienced the thrill of catering for our first five wedding couples and a whole host of special occasions.
We’ve also recruited some new front-of-house staff to join our experienced staff who share our values of great customers service. George and Will are our Front of House Managers, on hand to ensure you have the best experience in our Bar and Restaurant and Liana our Events Manager, can help you with any special occasion that you would like to mark.
We plan to continue to update our Menu with new culinary creations from our Head Chef Nick Povey and his talented team and tweak our wine list to suit the tastes of our customers, so there should always be something new to experience. We do value customer feedback so please do let us know if there is anything we can do to improve your experience at the Skipper.
Most recently our focus has been on creating our Christmas Party and Christmas Day Menus. There is something strange about working on a Christmas Menu in the summer but it has to be said that some of us are unashamedly counting down the days to the festive season, so we can try some of the delicious dishes on offer. We’re already taking bookings, so please do consider booking early to avoid disappointment. Our menus are display at our Bar and can be downloaded below.
